About two weeks ago, I got an email from the USPS seeking my participation in a postal service improvement project. It involved filling out a lengthy survey online and then keeping a mail diary for a week.
I agreed to do it, filled out the survey and was notified that the mail diary kit would arrive before the diary week (April 11-16).
So I get a call yesterday from the survey group to confirm receipt of the diary kit. I told the guy it hadn't arrived yet- which is a problem as the diary is supposed to start Monday.
He said if it doesn't arrive by today (Saturday), just call the 800 number for a same-day special delivery. What 800 number I asked- I don't have one to call.
"It's right there in the diary info packet instructions", he said.
I reminded him that I hadn't received the kit yet. Oh yeah, he said- I see what you mean...and he read me the number...
