My insurance agent called to tell me that Travelers Ins Co has lowered my auto insurance premium. They are lowering my annual premium by about 47%!
She said that Travelers has adopted the new "tiered auto insurance system."

The decrease in my monthly premium (4 cars and 4 drivers, 2 of which are college students) basically covers the monthly payment we're making on a used car that we bought for my daughter last summer. With some creative accounting, one could almost say that the car was free. ;-)
I'm hoping they adopt a tiered system for homeowner's insurance too. Maybe the discount will equal my mortgage payment. ;-)
