The maintenance manual for my wife's Subaru Forester says to change the spark plugs every 60,000 miles or 5 years.
I always thought you changed plugs after X miles. What difference does time make? They're metal and ceramic so age is irrelevant.
Her car is 8 years old but only has 26,000 miles on it. Dealer want $330 to change the plugs. Yowza!
I've changed my own s[ark plugs for many years but YouTube videos on how to change these boxer engine plugs show it's beyond my current ability.
I'm inclined to just let it ride. Yes, no?
