You don't want to take a 53 into the hills of Kentucky or west virginia - or a lot of other places. My kid brother had to "lever" a flatbed around a few turns with the edge of the trailer using rock as the fulcrum sliding the trailer axles around the corner when the dispatcher gave him the "shortest route" to his pickup destination disregarding the roads. From then on they let him pick his route. -

Same problem with getting front-of-the-house restaurant staff in D.C. Our favorite restaurant had to close because they couldn't recruit and couldn't afford to keep paying the overhead expenses to maintain the property.
It's even more impressive watching a ship's captain navigate a large cruise ship into and through locks with only about 12"-18" of clearance on each side and not bumping. Even with lateral thrusters, it seems extremely difficult.
We get 3 scheduled Trash Recycle Horticulture Large items are "as required" and the trash hauler arranges it if they can't take something. I am surprised at what the regular trash guy takes tho. Usually the special truck is for large electronics and white goods. It is not the regular W/M people. They get special processing because of CFCs and lead. I think things like washing machines get mined for the metals by the recycler.
Lateral thrusters would help a lot.
If I learn to drive a semi, can I get one with lateral thrusters?
If the truck they give me to drive doesn't have them, can I buy my own that clip on?
Can I get some for my kayak?
