Have a 1500 sq.ft. ranch. Thinking about purchasing an Aprilaire 5000
system (or something eqiuivalent) to clean the interior air as I have
two indoor dogs, lots of dust and I smoke cigars inside. I would
appreciate opinions from current users and experiences about installing
myself. Thanks, Dan
I have at 2 locations April Air Media
Spaceguard 2200 . Consumer Reports Rated it good. Well the casing
holding the filter doesn't seal at all by 1/8 inch. I installed foam
strips to stop over air flow of unfiltered air after cleaning the top of
my coils on a Spacepack because of Air Filter Bypass.
April Air came out and said they redesigned the Media Holder and gave me
a replacement free . It doesn't work. At second location ducts were
professionally cleanse by a 15,000.00 machine , after 1 yr they were
dirty. I paid again to clean and ran weather stripping to seal April
Airs CPAP and am now going to court for this BS filter they sell. The
5000 may be ok but Consumers Reports would not let me talk to the tester
and the tester wont respond to the 2200 model.
Consumer Reports Recently rated Phones and did not include Sony, Gee
Why. They supposedly buy everything at stores , well I suspect a
PAYOFF I own All Sony phones.
Sony Phones are Common so why not include them unless you are Consumers
The BBB Scammed millions in a midwest phone book scam .
Consumer Reports ????????????? Maybe the next CNN news headline
Make It Happen
Filters Forget Ozone producers, The 5000 may be OK But how will you
know , AIR BEAR seals good . Maybe my next.
