i have 2 1/2 hp door openers and one has started opening when the garge light is turned on and the other has lost all contacts with the remotes any thoughts

Yes, that particular brand and model openers have this problem quite often. Best off with new ones.

Make. model, and age would make sense unless you are a troll!!!
Sounds like noise on the power line is tripping it.
Try setting them up again, with both remotes. You can always add another remote that contacts the switch closure. I'm sure they sell them at sears.
