mold, sheetrock

If a wall always needs to breath or otherwise has mold (eg. behind a hanging picture), then it's sheetrock needs to be replaced right?

Has anyone tried drilling holes at the top of the wall and spraying in bleach/x14 solutions so that it runs down inside the wall?

Bleach inside the wall will make it even wetter than it already is. Where is this moisture coming from? That is the problem to solve.
