Lynx Garage Door Opener - Friction Trip?

I have an old Lynx overhead door opener controlling a double width wood garage door.

When left to close on its own, at about the half-closed point, it stops and opens, as if it has hit something. I can force it to close by "helping" the door down with my hand.

Is there a friction trip adjustment on the unit that will allow me to decrease the sensitivity? Or might my problem be work rollers on the tracks? I have lubed the rollers, but they are old.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi, Is the door springs balanced? With opener disengaged, can you lift/close door with one hand?
