installation of thermal exp. tank & pressure regulator valve

Hi, I'm in the process of negotiating some items on the purchase of a newly renovated home and wondered if anyone could provide ballpark prices for the purchase and installation of the following items:


  1. expansion tank for hot water heater
  2. water pressure regulator valve for outside supply line to house

Depending on where you live, between $50.00 and $250.00.

That's a hard one. Where's it going to go? It it's easy access, somewhere between $125.00 and $400.
