I won Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes

I'm not kidding, I got a call yesterday and the guy told me I won. First Prize, $39 million and a new Mercedes 350.

As you can imagine, i was thrilled and I'm sure this was not some scammer like you hear about. I asked him what color the car was and he said it was black. Living here in the south, black is not good so I said I wanted white.

We went back and forth on that a bit and seems we got disconnected. Unless I get the color of my choice, I'm not accepting the prize.

I'll update this when they show up at my door with the check.

I would have asked him what I needed to do to claim the prize. If he said I needed to pay anything or provide any financial account information I would have asked how they got my name and address when I didn't enter their sweepstakes. The answers to those questions would have been worth posting.

Supposedly they announce first prize winners in person at the winner's home address along with a camera crew to document the scene. At least that's what their TV ads I've seen show. Unfortunately I have no first hand knowledge of how true that is.
