I'M NOT THE PLUMBER OR THE PLUMBER'S SON.....

This photo shows the inside of a North Korean home, specifically the bathroom. Taken after having evaded his government minder for a minute, the picture shows the plumbing in the house ? or rather, the lack thereof. The picture clearly shows a hand pump used to pump underground well water, but the water is going into a bath. This water isn?t for bathing however ? it is for drinking, with the bathtub being used as a water storage tank!

Are you proud that your life is better, or sorry for the Koreans? It just goes to show what happens when you have a half-demented President, more interested in nukes than in his people. He is a great believer in "the divine right to govern wrong." 'nuf said.

I read about a Third World country where they use their left hand to wipe their backside, and their right hand to eat. My wife said: "Why don't they wash their hands under the tap?"

What tap? They don't have running water.

Be grateful.

Doug.

not just water taps but wells, sewers etc. might require more expertise than a bomb.

Most of the expertise with any public benefit is in determining who gets the profit and who gets stuck with the debt and the risk.
