Hurricane shutters are great for protecting against the wind. However, lots of water comes thru and can eventually flood a hi-rise unit.
Any suggestions of how to prevent the rain from coming in thru the holes of the hurricane shutters?

Bubble gum, duct tape, a cork, roofing tar, wadded up tissue, a bolt and nut with a rubber washer, silicone chalking, boogers, JB weld.
