I haven't lost a minute of sleep - about " neutral bonding " - - as my little portable generator powers my home ... .. and my neighbours evacuate to their city friends & relatives ... Call me dangerous & hazardous ! :-) ... whatever .. John T.
There are conversion kits you can buy for common engines on these that convert them. Some permanent, some tri-fuel and you can switch back and forth.
The price of good cable ends is SCARY!!!!!
My little portable can run on Natural Gas if the power is out long enough to run out of both propane and gasoline. It only puts out 5000 watts on NG compared to 7000 on Gasoline and about 6000 on Propane

IOf you read their whole website they mention having gone through the nUL certification route. Both companies.
Mine easily switches from gasoline to some kind of gas just by which valve is on but propane to NG and back will require adjusting the metering block.
No GFCI on my generator - the house is full of them, though.
Particularly twist locks.
I keep hearing that but my engine must be oversized or something because it still puts out full power on propane.
Have you loaded it down to test? I tested mine with a number of heaters - starting with a 4000 watt 220 volt unit, and adding a couple of 750/1500 110 volt heaters.
On gasoline it handled all 3 on high. On propane it handled the 4000 plus 2 750 watt heaters but struggled to pick them up with a couple 100 watt bulbs added. On natural gas it handled the 4000 plus one 750 and 2 100 watt bulbs, but struggled with 3.
This is a 440cc Champion on a motor snorkel conversion. The natural gas MAY be lower than optimal due to a marginal gas line - but the propane is defonitely not restricted, running of 2 manifolded

The test result is right there in the link I provided. I was running a GE convection oven. 23.49a @ 230v = 5402w for a 5500w rated generator. (on propane) I suppose I could have plugged in a couple of 100w light bulbs. Maybe the next time I have it out for a test run I could but the engine did not seem to be struggling. I know after Irma I was running it just below what would trip the breaker for days.
