[SOLVED] How to remove old GE microwave oven...

Got a now-broken, 20-year-old microwave oven that I'mtrying to remove. It was made by General Electric andsays "GE SpaceMaker" (or SpaceSaver?) on the outside.I've installed other brands before, so I THOUGHT I couldfigure out how this old GE is being held into place (it's a 30-inchwide under the cabinets over the stove model).I've take the upper bezel and the lower panel down and lookedaround inside with a flashlight, but it is still UNCLEAR justwhat is holding it in place.Seems like maybe the 3-sided outermost panel (rather thanjust a backplate!?) is holding it in place. It may (or may not)have some kind of 'slide out on a track' thing...something visibleinside sort of looks like that, but I can't find any latch-releaseor anything for that.So, rather than me SPECULATE further: Can someone tell medefinitely how this damn thing can be de-installed?TIA... I'm also trying to remove a JVM140 & can't get it loose. Anybody know how?

This was extremely helpful. It was exactly how you explained it and allowed my 76 year old husband and I accomplish this task. Now I hope we can manage the install.

Nope we have done everything removed the face the screws every access to another screw or bolt and this microwave will not budge! There’s no safety latch or at a loss how did you remove your JVM 140?
