My sister used red hot pepper when she planted corn to discourage
chipmonks or ground squirrels, and they left it alone after digging up
just a few seedlings.
But when my brother tried to discourage his dog from chewing on the
woodwork in his house using hot pepper, it just gave the dog a taste for
