Handleset and door thickness

My wife wants to replace our existing door hardware and I tracked down the parts to these:

85350.056.RENT
85350.056.LFD

These specify 1.75" door thickness, I have 1 5/8. Can I use these? Any special installation tricks?

That site gives a little more latitude for the door thickness. The Baldwin site mentions adapters for thicker doors,

According to the first site your wife has some expensive tastes...

We seem to have more fractional confusion here 1 5/8" is 1.625" Thinner than the max 1.75. To the op they are referring to max thickness and your door will be fine.

snipped-for-privacy@aol.com: Thank you very much for your post. I was hoping this was the case but wanted confirmation before spending $760 on hardware for the two doors. And to rbowman, who observed that my wife has expensive tastes, yes this is often true. Fortunately, I was able to find these handlesets for $400 for the 5-pin cylinder and $360 for the dummy, rather than $525.70 as listed in your link. Still high but not quite as expensive as you found.
