What about a triple negative with 2 positives?
The poster's double use of the negative was not technically a double negative, and was perfectly correct. He does not recommend - a bar that is not knurled. Each negative is part of a totally different segment of the sentance. There is one negative in the verb part and one in the noun/pronoun part.
