We had an issue at work with some Asian temps doing that. Cleaning lady bitched about footprints on the toilet seats.

We had the reverse at the uni I worked at. The building manager had to tell an Indian that he should put the used toilet paper in the toilet and flush it, not leave it on the floor beside the toilet.
Your international political scientists can usually tell you about toilet plumbing outside of the west. There, they only did a hole in the ground. Which means you squat. And you get into the habit of squatting. No place to sit.
In India most don't even bother with a hole in the ground, just s*it on the ground and leave the turd lying there.
North Korea collects it for fertilizer.
We've found that what the dog doesn't want , the chickens do ... except raw potatoes and onion trimmin's . Those go into the compost .

Quick search just told us that 98% of Indians have access to indoor plumbing but ten years ago it was less than half.
Indian friend had told me that everyone had their spot outside.
But they don't s*it on the ground anywhere they like.
China collects s*it and uses it for fertilizer too, but again, they don't s*it on the ground and just leave it there for anyone to tread on.
Don't beieve that it is even possible to change that quickly with something like that.
