Fridge Line Cleansing

Is there a way to clean the water line inside of a refrigerator? I herd of people pouring bleach or other cleaners in to the filter and running water through. Is this recommended?

Hi,

Water tank/reservoir is normally behind the crispers in the fresh food section. Most of these are not cleaned, they are replaced when they give us a problem. If you want to clean it inside you would have to use your own ingenuity to come up with a way to cut the tubing and clean it inside and then reattach the tubing back together with a coupler/connector.

running water through

Worth a try! :)

But would it take a herd of people or could one try to do this by themselves?

;-]

G'day,

??

Can't see why someone could not try this....if it fails or doesn't help the lines and water tank/resevoir can be changed.
