That always varys year by year as the bugs evolve and the spray makers change the formulation to keep up with that.
Hand held shop vav. Plug the tip with tissue until you take outside to empty.
Bifen but understand this is nasty stuff so only spray where you and pets will not be contacting it. I will take them out tho. Personally I just spray a perimeter around the house on the outside. That stops them before they get in. If you are dealing with German and Asian roaches, they are probably coming in with things you bring it. That is one bug we don't have that much trouble with in Florida. They seem to be a northern thing.

Also no kids, no pets, deep south.
I use Ortho "Home Defense" Insect Killer, "for indoors and perimeter". It has a battery-powered pump in the 1.33 gallon (5 liter) size.
I've used a similar brand in the past that has a manual pump, where you pull-out a spring-loaded handle. It was a pain to keep pulling-out, but there was no worry about the battery running down.
Both work fairly well, but I suspect you might have to spray even a small spider directly. Those things are tough!

Then bifen should work for you. Amazon has it if you don't have a farm store around.
