DIY - Make your own Mountain Dew soda

Feb 02, 2008 2 Replies

Mountain Dew soda can be easily made and better yet, it's FREE. You can only make it in the winter, so stock up for your cool refreshing summer drinks.

Here is how. Go outside and look for patches of yellow snow. They are generally found all over your yard and easy to spot. Take a pail and scoop the yellow snow into the pail. When you get it filled, go indoors and let it sit until it's a slushy liquid. Take this liquid and add 4 to 5 cups of sugar for each gallon of yellow snow, and stir well. Fill bottles with it. Insert come carbonization, cap the bottles and place them in your fridge to enjoy them anytime you want.

Thats all there is to it. Very easy and almost free, except the bottle caps. Hopefully you can find enough fresh clean bottles in garbage dumpsters so you dont have to buy them. They can be used over and over.

Too much yellow snow can make you foolish.

No doubt our friend has sucked on a lump of yellow snow, and the primary device used to make it.
