This was sort of my point. They've created a whole new tool, because everyone who wants one has a trowel. So now they're trying to convince people they need a narrower one.

Oh, I feel so incompetent and unprepared. But they just call it a narrow trowel, not a transplanter!

I must admit that when I was being careful with sod, it was hard to cut, though I managed with a big knife. Maybe I should have used a big serrated kitchen knife. Later I just put the sod down on whatever was already there, and it did just as well, although I'm not saying that would work everywhere. .

Those look weird. I'd be afraid to leave them in the garden shed while I was sleeping. One might take over my body.
