I am a little confused on how to go about this. Usually you have 2 brackets which are mounted against a wall and the curtain hangs. However, my case, there is no back wall since it will be used to cover an area, therefore only 2 side walls which are 8ft apart. Would like to assistance on how I might be able to achieve this.

You really expect any answer, let alone one to rely on, with that very limited information?
Think shower curtain rod ideas.
Sounds like you think the poster is hanging an actual curtain and not talking about a "curtain wall", which is an architectural term and something very different. If that's the case, like you say, there are curtain rods that have ends for attachments to walls at each end.
