Cumulus failing

I don't have any of their stock, nor do I listen to broadcast radio any more. Won't affect me. I've had XM in my last few cars and enjoy commercial free listening.

I had a dummy attack and posted to the wrong group.

Broadcast radio screwed themselves right into bankruptcy by jacking up the volume of their commercials. Glad to see them die, they deserve it!

FWIW, cable TV and their forced channel bundling scam is going to suffer the same fate.

Cox cable jacks up the volume of their comercials. Fortunately, the last televisions we bought automatically lower the volume on commercials, almost muting them completely. It's not a feature I can turn on or off, so I'm not sure how it works.

I like that. 80% of what we watch is recorded so I can FF through commercials.

The CALM act prevents using a higher than average vo;ume, but ther are other tricks to make them seem louder by changing tones.
