I just saw in a later post that you never saw the original thread starter post, so that's very different from my assumption that you were able to see it at one time but now it's 'gone'.

Besides using howardknight to look up old posts, keep in mind that Agent can retrieve old posts by double clicking on Message-IDs, such as those found in the References header of whatever post you happen to be looking at. You may have to configure Agent to treat a MID as a MID and not as an email address, since they sort of look the same, but after that you can just double click to work your way back through a thread, all the way to the beginning.

You can also use a Usenet provider that has better completion. Every now and then the free services have a little glitch that the bigger guys don't have.

I wouldn't use a valve, unless she intends to use it the future. I would use a cap. Do they make Sharkbites for 1/4" copper?
