New to welding, looking for a machine to learn on. Searched and found a lot of Plasma cutters, then found some combo machines that will weld and cut, but I dint find any the specifically state that they would Cut and MIG ? Does such a machine exist, or will I have to buy separate machines ?

No, I really want precision cuts. I was looking at purchasing a CNC table to control the cuts in the future. Don't see that working w/acetylene ?
Acetylene cutting depends on a steady hand and wouldn't be good for precision cuts. I gradually learned to cut those 8" pipes straight enough that I could weld couplers to them but it wasn't at all pretty. The couplers might've had a inward bevel to them but I don't remember for sure.
When I worked for a steel company they had an acetylene cutting setup that was basically a pantograph setup to trace a blueprint. Today it would be a CNC setup. It's a little out of reach for a home handyman though.
