Back to standard time at 2AM

I did a couple of mine already.

The Senate has not voted to keeping DST. Maybe that is good. When it first started out, I was in agreement and I'd like DST year round. The more I investigated, no, better to stay on standard time.

Depending on location, some places do not get daylight until nearly 9AM. This affect school kids and anyone working outside. Construction, farmers and such get hit hard.

Farmers get up with the cows and the cows don't give a damn about some made up human s*it. Construction workers cad also adapt. I once drove a school bus. Trust me, the morning run is much more peaceful if the little bastards are still semi-comatose.

Our wonderful, democratically elected Senate seems adverse to doing anything but renaming post offices so I trust nothing will change.

Ed - I grew up a quarter mile from the foot of the Wasatch Face . Daylight may be at 6 AM , but you ain't seein' Mr Sun until 9:30 or 10 .

The hardest part of the time change for me is getting the dog accustomed to the new schedule . Over the past few days I have been changing the times of our morning and evening walks so that the last half hour adjustment won't be such a shock . Getting the wife adjusted is a different matter entirely .

Being retired and doing what you want when you want is awesome . Until your wife decides that you're going yard salin' when you had planned to be splitting firewood . Turned out OK though , scored a neck size die for the '06 and a pair of 6" vise grips for next to nuthin' .
