Best wheels for a computer chair on carpet?

The ones at work have spikes.

Did they have slip covers on the furniture too?

For one of the family cars my mother decided to preserve the seats for posterity or something and installed heavy clear vinyl seat covers. They sucked both summer and winter. After 5 years the coachwork was rusting out but the seats were virginal.

When I bought my first car she gifted me with a set of seat covers. In that case the upholstery was pretty grotty so I think it was a proactive measure if she ever had to ride in it.

Why doesn't the chair wheel come off the end? It's not very big.

And I couldn't use that chair either. The back isn't tilted back (is it adjustable like mine?), and it doesn't look like the arms go any higher.

Then your carpet is fitted badly. You did use a stretcher, right?

I think so. I also remember my gran having plastic things around lightswitches and doorhandles to prevent grubby finger marks on the wallpaper and doors. They didn't look bad actually.

Didn't that make you stick to the seats with sweat?

My car is full of earth from doing gardening. Last time I gave my mother a lift she placed a towel on the seat.

I friend has very realistic dog seat covers. Somebody thought she'd a left a dog locked in the car in the hot weather, so instead of looking closely, phoned the police. The police didn't look closely either, but checked the reg number, then knocked on her door to ask her what was going on. Only a 106 IQ those pigs, and 104 in America!

Isn't that a pest having the computer seperate from the living room?

Not a big deal. I am not all over the place with the chair which is fine for me.

Den is right off the kitchen. I have another desk with a laptop, a TV, radio and couch. Very comfortable. The only time we spend in the living room is when we have guests.

But the whole point of wheels is you can move around.

So it's basically just another living room.

Most just use the wheels to get closer to the desk after you have moved the chair away to sit in it or get out of it.

Because that makes it easier to get into the chair and out of it with a desk chair.

That's the way I do it, with a deep armchair and my feet up on a stool but that isnt how most prefer to use a computer.

But that is much more complicated and expensive than a desk and chair with wheels.
