Hi All,
Now that my refrigerator need fixing, I speculate that the next thing to go out will be my water heater, which is about 28 years old.
I do not want a crappy five year water heater.
Anyone know who makes the longest lived water heaters?

I don't know whether this is the best, but I have a natural gas Ruud that was installed in 2014. I suspect just like anything else it all depends on the amount of preventive maintenance one performs, like annual flushing and occasional sacrificial rod replacement.
