Advertiser Staff

Otho Behr, who founded the Behr Process paint company in 1947, died Friday of natural causes at the age of 92 at his home in Kailua, Hawaii.

Behr Process, a unit of Santa Ana, California-based Masco Corp., makes paints, decorative finishes, primers, stains, waterproof applications and surface preparation products that are sold exclusively by Home Depot Inc., the company said yesterday in a statement.

Behr is survived by two sons, three stepsons and nine grandchildren.

Services will be held tomorrow at his home with burial in Modesto, Calif.
