Bathroom Shower Mold/Mildew

Nov 09, 2004 2 Replies

Does anyone have a suggestion for a product to use to clean mold/mildew that is under the "plastic/silicone" seals in a glass shower enclosure? It would need to be something that wouldn't damage the aluminum framing. Thanks for the help.

If the mold is under the sealant, you have a broken seal, or moisture coming from the sheetrock side of the wall; you need to remove sealant, clean, dry, and reapply top notch pure silicone caulk made expressly for baths/showers.

Cheap household 78c a gallon bleach.. Sodium Hypochlorate is the active ingrediant, wether you spend .78c a gallon or 5 dollars a bottle, it is bleach. , Keep a spray bottle handy and spray well whenever mold is present
