Much respect.
Much respect.
Same here, besides Don loves to cook! Other times, he likes to watch while I do something unique in cooking, to him.
Same here. I do all the financial stuff, taxes and bills. He takes care of the yard. Cleaning is shared.
EEEKK! I trained him to always leave the bottom part down after some chilling screams in the night... (grin). If I flip the light on, it wakes him up. If he leaves the bottom part up I wake him up so...
Cindy may be full bottomed and it makes no difference. Do not know about her husband:
I don't know about Oz but it's the young ones here in the States that have the lard butts. The mature ones still have figures.

Two words: night light
Enough light to see the seat position and to aim. Unless you think him listening for the sound of urine hitting water or floor is sufficiently precise.

Another solution is to install a GFCI outlet with led night light.
When I go into a public restroom, I typically leave the seat up. Unfortunately, all the people that I'm being nice to don't realize it.
Woman or man, if you had to sit down to relieve to yourself, which would you rather do:
Put the seat down or wipe off the piss from the previous jerk who couldn't take the trouble to lift the seat up?
Men: The next time you need to take a leak, leave the seat up.
Men and Women: The next time you find the seat left up, think of me.
I guess it's ok to call it bullshit when you use the words "have to". In my case, it's a "want to". The wife and I are empty nesters. I put the seat down for her because I *want to* not because I have to.
One word: Dimmer
All bedrooms and bathrooms in my house have dimmers.
All of our floor lamps used to be dimmable via Alexa, but all it took was a couple of WiFi outages and SWMBO said "Be gone with them!"
Her: "I hate talking to the lamps in the first place. I hate it even more when they don't listen."
Using old school 50-100-150 3-ways now.
Smile, Don is low vision. That doesn't work.
Braille on the seat
I agreed he could leave the seat up because I *want to*, not because I have to.
I'm quite confident there are women who would pitch a bitch if the husband left the seat up. That's why I called it "bullshit". Any grown-up should be able to ensure the seat is in the correct position before using the toilet.

Night light for you, so you can see where the seat is.
Doesn't your bathroom have a door? Mine does.
