A friend faces n'hood leaks
A friend lives in a n'hood with wet roads, and they've dug to repair the leaks and then there were more leaks. He was told the leaks are at the water meters, and other places, and it's going to cost $5000 per household to fix everything.
I don't know what the pipes are made of.
The n'hood was built mostly in 1979. Is it normal for things to last only 40 years.
Or does this mean shoddy workmanship or that they bought cheap materials. Wild guesses are fine.
