Does anyone know of a water-based air cooler that would fit in the rough opening of a built-in kitchen dishwasher? (An a/c unit in the window would scandalize neighbors.) Thank you, Gordon

Dear Gordon, I know of no such unit. There are portable AC made, which dump heat through a tubing like dryer vent. Which, come to think of it, you may be able to dump heat through a dryer vent Water cooled condensors are often used for commercial refrigeration. In theory it is possible to cool an entire house or building, using a compressor set up, and using cold water to carry away the heat. This could be useful in a building where cold water was included in the rent. However, try not to get caught. In your case, the portable AC with the dryer vent may well be the way to go. Please let us know how things go.
