I have removed the bottom panel and found no filter either on the bottom of the box or on the side, which is open to another box and a large duct, which appears to vent into my unit. However, the small box connecting the furnace to the large duct does not appear to be easily accessible and has bolts on both sides, with a welded band on both the top and bottom. Could it be missing a filter altogether?
Help me in locating the filter in my 2006 Carrier Infinity 96, model 58MVB?
