Here it goes 2014 in sept bought my first home am upper condo on the far end of the complex had it inspected before buying I did not notice it and the inspector missed it or did not say nothing about it in the report few months later I was up in the loft area in the garage and noticed sagging and then saw the crack right where the sagging is well a few months later now January I talked with my neighbor one cold snowy day and as we are shoveling I told her I had a crack in my garage and right away she said she ask the previous owners what they are doing about it and they said they were not worry about it so they new about and this is what I am wondering

1-how much is this going to cost ??
2-how would you repair this with the crack right in the middle ?? And any help would be appreciated thank you Bryan
1 - Don't know. 2 - If it's an actual truss and we're just talking about the bottommost horizontal stick, it can be quite "simply" replaced to fully renew the truss to its former ability. "Simply" depends upon where the ends are, if they're buried or run past the exterior or if they're nice and wide open.

- It's one of the best things about trusses, any stick can be taken out and replaced to restore its power. Also, be aware that it may have just been a bad or improper stick that got past quality control and not anything, possibly and hopefully, related to the structure being inadequate.
