apparently I have to have a google account to access the newsgroup, they recognize my e-mail address, but I can't get the password right. No internet until August 9th :( the landline is on thanks to son and his truck driving girlfriend :) things are insane at the moment. just trying to figure out how to scrape up $ for simple things....electric, gas money, glasses after surgery which I don't have, they're progressive lenses (I am blind up close.....and yes, I have dime store glasses, in order to get two jobs I'll need to see at arm's length, and that will take progressive lenses, I have my own frames, and soon one day if he'd co-operate and file the divorce papers husband isn't able to pay the $160 for the glasses.......yet he keeps insisting that he'd be "so proud of me when I'm able to stand on my own." sheesh.........I would have to work five jobs to earn what it will take to pay my monthly bills (house note, car note, insurances, basics, no frills.......I am already spending $10 a week on groceries, oh well, lets stop this, it sounds like I'm whining. we got MORE rains yesterday, horrific storms, five inches of needed rains. I stood in the rains and let it soak me as I had my own Faerie Holler melt down after talking to ex-squire, then a hummer came right in my face and hovered there chirking at me chastising and giving me hell. the seven foot four o' clocks were open because of teh overcast and clouds. I have yellow and magenta. pink and cream striped phlox is blooming massivly, Blue Enigma, purple loosestrife lucked out and missed the munching Jap's this year so the hummers adore it as well........Matrona blooming early, (sedum) black eyed Susans, swamp Sunflowers are setting buds and are everywhere....... blister beetles destroyed the Japanese anemone, oh well.......the front gardens look like a jungle. when I get the internet back on August 9th and erase 9000 spam's from my account, I will have incredible news to share, pictures to post on binaries and a ramble that will leave yer eyes aching..........I miss all of you. Ann, call Gloria and get my landline number, and my Sprint "can you hear me now? NO garrammit!!!" and the Cingular # that my friend, Molly shared her mom's SIM card so I'd have a phone that got a signal at the house.... trying to burn Charlie some music to send him back....trying to stay afloat. and work with this internet at the library while I download and print out important e-mail's costing me change I don't have but scrape up picking up pennies I see on the ground and pavement. after the 13th of August, I will be seriously looking for jobs, I have a Clerk II test to take for the State of Tennessee at 8:30 in the a.m. that will put me in the system, then I will hit the ground running after the 13th...........my love to all of you, please keep me in your lottery prayers and I'm hanging on by threads........... madgardener, up on the soggy ridge, back in an overgrown Faerie Holler, overlooking English Mountain (it's obscured by gray forboding clouds right now) in Eastern Tennessee, zone 7, Sunset zone 36 where it's finally humid!!! (I'll take all the rains I can get.......and where's that winning scratch ticket??

Hi, all! Maddie is fine, things are a little strange in her life right now, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! We walked her garden paths on Friday, it was peaceful and soothing. Beautiful flowers and wonderful plants - the faeries have been doing a good job. She says that she hopes everyone is well and wants to thank everyone for their concern and thinks she will be back on her computer around 8/9.

Her eyes are doing fine and she is getting used to wearing reading glasses, I think.
