Oh the joy! It will take me a while to clear the entire plot but I'm doing
by sections and planted my first seeds yesterday plus a few herbs. I live
a community garden and I can't tell you how envious I was - these people
started their gardens from as far back as March! Oh well - at least I

can seed the rest.
"How did I ever get talked into this?"

Soon the pumpkin plants broke the surface..."Oh the joy"...!
As they grew I removed more grass from the area.
It wasn't long before I was asked..."What is that?" by the Big Boss.

Well, that first year we had 32 sugar pumpkins. The Big Boss eventually
came up with a recipe...pumpkin loaf...that won a prize for someone we gave
the recipe to.
Now that is normal. Take the risk (of being killed for growing pumpkins
against the Big Bosses wishes) then giving out The
Recipe...and someone else gets a prize!? Go figure.... :)
Happy gardening! :)
