Anyone ever taken 5 gal plastic buckets and spray painted them to make cheap flower pots?
If yes..... work well?
Any downside to doing this?
I want to plant a bunch of Caladiums in them come June

Yes you can paint your 5 gal pots. As for the Caladiums they like a well drained soil with extra peat moss. 1 soil, 2 peat, 2 sharp sand or perlite. Mix a a bit of detergent in some water to moisten the mix.
