what should i expect on a quotation for garden transforming?

Hi Guys I really need your help. I’m going to transform my garden totally. What kind of items should I expect on a quotation? Do they need to list the materials and the mention the methods they are using? I just don’t want to be cheated. Thank you all. Shirley
