My tree has pushed my wooden fence out of alignment causing my gate not to close. The distance is about 2 inches. I was thinking of planing the post on the latch side of the fence. I’m not sure if a turnbuckle system would ‘tighten’ the gate enough to allow the gate to be closed either. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks from Canada 😊.
