Estimating the number of bricks required

Jan 18, 2006 5 Replies

I propose to build a small enclosure for my water supply pump in brick to keep mice out and wondered if there is a formulae for working out the number of bricks required knowing the area Blair

It's 60 bricks per square metre per skin. So a double skin with cavity would be 120 per square metre.

Thanks to Al & Grimley for their help Blair

if you wanna go super hi-tech, take a tape to a nearby wall, measure it out and count
