After a bit of digging I've found this reference:
ISO 668:1995 - Series 1 freight containers -- Classification, dimensions and ratings

It appears that the ISO standards directly related to shipping containers are handled by ISO's TC
104/SC 1, which published 23 standards. The list is available at:
