removing mold from stroller

I have a stroller that got wet and now has mold or mildew (not sure what the difference is) in it. The material is a nylon..does anyone have any ideas on how to clean it? The seat cannot be thrown in the wash as it has a piece of wood in it as a support. ANY IDEAS PLEASE!!!!!! Thanks MJ

Wait for a sunny day. Lightly spray the entire stoller with a cleaner such as 409. Make up another spray containing 1 cup warm water and a tablespoon of household bleach and spray this over the entire stoller. Brush the surface, rinse, dry with a towel and place in the sun. Make sure the sun is hitting the part with the wood, especially if it got wet.

Also, you could combine the cleaning/ bleaching into one step, using Clorox Clean-up. Spray, soak, rinse , repeat where needed.

Mildew is superficial and usually white. Mold causes organic matter to disintegrate.
