I recently removed all of the carpet in our home. All but 1 room had penetrating sealed floors. The floors look like new! They have a satin look. The problem is they have a very fine padding residue pattern. (Not Rubber) The padding was an old hemp or something with a maroon color to the backing. How can I remove this without affecting the finish on the floor ? It is very, very light.
How do I remove a fine residue from carpet pads(not rubber) on my hardwood floor

Try taking a picture and bringing it by your home depot or lowes. Those places have experts that will be able to identify exactly what it is that you are talking about, and quickly get you the product you need to resolve your issue. If you apply the wrong product you could damage your floors, so I suggest you ask a professional and bring a picture.
