Clamping... (1/1)

I am making some displays for work, so I thought it was time to get some more clamps. I always wanted both really long and really short ones, so I picked up four more 12" GS, two 40's and two 80's. Having the right clamps around really helps.

might be hard to figure out what is going on from the photo. The top and the sides are joined with a half lap and I used polyurathane glue. I needed to pull in all three axis to make the joint tight.

More photos as they progress this weekend...

Dear Butt Head,

Now you have gone and dunned it! Youse gone and broke the code! How dare you point out that I have a tool that would do the job when what I was looking to do was go buy more tools! Go sit on the M. Bench with BAD for 20 minutes and say three Hail Mary's!

Bad Bruce...

with any luck, your wife doesn't read the wreck, so you will be safe. I will have to remember to hide the background when I am posting a "new tool gloat".

What's the problem? Are you afraid he is eating up your bandwidth?

If he annoys you, plonk him. Scheeez!

If I annoy YOU, plonk ME! Follow your own advice. He tells us about every thing he buys, or fixes, or builds. Ego mania at it's finest!

and I'll plonk who the f I want to. I don't need your permission or direction, thank you.

Yep, I think I will. You've been getting on my last nerve for a while, now.

See ya

Oh, by the way, this is a free country, and he can post as oft as he likes. He doesn't need your permission, oh mighty dave!

I *like* David's posts. I just think he's doing what he loves to do, is having fun with it, and wants to share. I too would like to think of this as a place to go to have a little fun.

You're out of line on this one. The OP always exhibits a most welcome, and often infectious, enthusiasm about all aspects of woodworking. It's a damn nice change of pace here lately.

"Tail Gunner Dave" whined...

Oh my! Is it just me - or has hypocrisy just been elevated to an art form? BTW troll-Dave, at least he didn't ask what color brush he should apply the glue with!

Both rude and crude, you've accused others of the same - more hypocrisy. Try being constructive for a change, your whining like a jet engine recently.
