NICEIC promoting more closed shop, jobs for the boys, self interest bollocks...

These days being able to easily purchase anything from anywhere in the world on the Internet means that regulating the sale of "approved" items will lead to the cowboys just buying crap from abroad. In fact if most of the approved goods are manufactured in the far east they will always be obtainable from other sources outside of the UK.

NICEIC head is ex american golf USA, BA marketing as I recall. When I challenged NICEIC to justify they statistics in late 2004 he said "we are a registered charity you can not sue us, we can get away with anything we want". NICEIC & ESC are famous for their junk statistics even more than ONS who are complete chimps. Was it ESC who said

200,000 hospital admissions were due to electrocution?

NICEIC were a **valuable** entity in 1970-1980, anyone who knew the standard of domestic electrical work then knew it was terrible. Training was poor and "benchmark training" was a notable omission. The problem was BS7671 left too much to be interpreted by people too thick to do so and by that I mean labourers who could smash a hole in a wall under a "QA electrician company", the QA electrician merely left to turn up asking for cash and a receipt was as far as electrical certificates got never mind testing. The QA electrician's could never keep up, although I believe the IET is penning a new set of fees, sorry, courses which will be "mandatory" to anyone new entering but not existing?

NICEIC now are merely interested in returning to SI2004 and openly mandate "we do not agree with SI2006". I do not agree with unqualified imbeciles under "QA sparks" because it cuts out genuine REAL sparks on labour rates re agency work. No other body but NICEIC permits this, and from experience it leaves a trail of problems.

Most charities in the UK should be stripped of their charitable status and forced to pay tax. The USA system is certification, fees & selling training materials. Much of which is the securitisation of toilet paper & attendance certificates.

Part P was about tax and I believe has achieved very little. Out of 3 electricians relatives used since 2004 they have all demanded cash and wording on MWC to EIC has not covered the scope of works charged re paper trail.

FOI to Australian Gov re limiting purchasing of electrical parts left a trail of dead bodies and baby, something NICEIC and politicians need publically reminding of. You can not sue NICEIC, a charitable trust has no assets in law. This is why the private schools & private schools information services (national recruitment agency CV databases) are charitable trusts and why the private schools wanted to manage everyone's CV in the UK so they could write (quote) "what people should have got or should not have been allowed to get" (Cambridge Magdalan Brooks Housemaster John Bishop Liverpool College "Capital Of Corruption"). Charitable Trusts are a menace and highly profitable to companies they front and remove legal liability from.

Quick reply, sorry.

If it ever got to that position, I'd just wire my house to the standard of some other less stupid EU country where I could easily buy parts by Internet

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "js.b1" saying something like:

Right, ta.
