How to enlarge overflow hole in acrylic bath

Hello All,

I have a new acrylic bath, unfortuantly the hole for the overflow is about 3mm too small. Does anyone know what the best way would be to enlarge the hole?

Thank you,

Tony

Use a Dremel or similar "multitool".

Angle grinder.

Probably a "diamond" file, half round. The sort of thing tilers use - the bigger coarser type rather than the needle files. Be careful though

- only apply strokes *into* the hole from the finished side or you risk chipping the finish off.

3mm wouldn't be to hard to take off carefully.

I would use a taper reamer, working from inside the bath.

Taper drill or small flapwheel.

Can't you get a overflow fitting that will suit?
