Hosepipe fittings and 15mm pipe

I've run some 15mm PE-X type pipe that I had spare for a improvised outside tap at the front of my terraced house. This pipe runs underneath the suspended timber floor from front to back.

This is not a for a permanent supply but I intended to connect it to my outside tap at the back of the house only as I need it.

My thought was at the front of the house to elbow the plastic to some 15mm copper then attach to a tap in the usual manner, I'm after some advice on the fittings for the back of the house where I'll attach it to a fly-lead hose pipe to my existing outside tap.

I'd like to attach the plastic to some copper first so I'll use a compression elbow then clamp the copper to the wall with SF:

I would like it go to a wallplate elbow as it can be screwed to the wall

the short question is how do I get the 1/2" converted to something I can plug the usual 1/2" hose pipe fittings?. Or any better suggestions though I don't want to use another tap.

cheers

Searching for hose fitting bsp gives plenty of results, plenty of results for hozelock to bsp too, take your pick.

I'd use a pushfit fitting, rather than compression, easier to get a reliable joint with plastic than compression. (Actually I'd probably juts run the plastic into the wallplate elbow)

You can get male threaded connectors, with the male push hose fitting on the other end end.

E.g (Nice brass one rather than plastic):

I made myself and my parents a 'tap splitter', from some copper pipe scraps and fittings and a couple of washing machine tap elbows, so we can leave more than one thing connected to the tap and still use it (in my case 2 different automatic watering system, with a free tap for the hosepipe etc.

I've never had a problem getting ordinary hose over 15mm copper pipe - maybe warm it a bit. Add a jubilee clip to be safe. Then a standard hozelock on the other end for your tap.
