Dewalt DW152

Hi Folks,

Firstly, please do not see this post as any kind of advert as it is NOT intended to be.

Does anyone have any experience with this drill? A friend on mine has one of these un-used that he is wanting to sell on. What i am wondering is if there is a market for a drill of this type? I have never seen a builder using such a beast... If he was to list it on ebay for example how much do you think i would get for it? I have the worry that it is so specialist that no one would want to buy it!!

Any advice would be greatfully received.

That design can be a bit of an awkward to use body even though the handles can be removed plus its really isn't that powerful at 680w output(lightwork).

If your friend obtained it legally, surely he knows what market it is intended for and therefore how to sell it?

Well then, you know what it's worth?

*THUD THUD THUD*

That was the sound of my head banging off the desk...

I wasnt asking how much the drill was worth, i stated that fact in my original post. I was asking if there was a market for such a drill, if it was worth selling it on ebay! Never mind, If you dont have a clue then i will ask someone who might... Granny maybe, or perhaps the mother in law!! :o)

Over and out.

It's worth what someone will pay for it - as with anything sold on Ebay, and no one can guess what that will be. If your mate took it in payment for a debt then he knows what it was worth to him.

If it is new with all original packaging and paperwork including purchase receipt this will increase the value.

Otherwise it's just a third hand (or more) power tool of limited use.
